MILAN PUBLIC LIBRARY MILLAGE PROPOSAL
Shall the City of Milan, Counties of Washtenaw and Monroe, Michigan, be authorized to levy an amount not be exceed 50 Cents ($0.50) per thousand dollars ($1,000) (0.5 mills) of the taxable value on all taxable property in the City, in perpetuity beginning with the tax levy on 2005, as new additional millage in order to provide funds for library operating purposes for the Milan Public Library? If approved and levied in its entirety in 2005, this millage would raise an estimated $115,000.
